Together with Didem Yildirim, I am curating a tailor-
made Stockholm visitors program from 02. October – 07. October 2023 focusing on the development of a fruitful culture of collaboration and a strategic network for its participants within the culture and arts sector of Sweden.
Spaces of Culture is a European-Turkish project initiated in 2017 by Goethe-Institut, German Embassy, Dutch Embassy, Institut français and Swedish Consulate as well as Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts and Anadolu Kültür. Spaces of Culture have been organizing Mobility programs -among others- since 2018 to the partner countries, namely Germany, the Netherlands, France and Sweden; and this year SoC wanted to broaden its impact by including a 'partnership' ingredient where selected participants from Türkiye are expected to establish organic connections with the Swedish peers and thus create cultural and artistic projects together next year in 2024. This year 11 cultural practitioners from Türkiye will visit Stockholm.
